The short version: MELD+ collects nothing. Everything you type stays on your device, is never transmitted anywhere, and is discarded the moment you close the app.

1. Information we do not collect

MELD+ does not collect, transmit, store, or share any of the following:

Patient data, laboratory values, or any clinical information entered into the app
Personal information — name, email, phone number, address
Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or hardware identifiers
Location data
Usage analytics, behavioural data, or crash reports
Any information of any kind

2. How the app works

MELD+ operates entirely on your device.

All clinical data is processed locally and never sent over any network
The app does not require an internet connection to function
The app connects to no servers, databases, or cloud services
There is no account, login, or registration
Closing the app discards all entered data — nothing persists between sessions

3. HIPAA

Because MELD+ never transmits, stores, or receives patient data, it does not function as a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA. Clinicians remain responsible for compliance with institutional policy regarding data entry and screen display in clinical areas.

4. Children's privacy

MELD+ is intended exclusively for licensed medical professionals and is not directed at individuals under 18.

5. Third-party services

MELD+ integrates with no third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or cloud providers.

6. Data security

Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is no data at risk. All processing occurs locally and is protected by your device's own security controls.

7. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above and a new app release.
